Faith before works, work requires compensation out of debt, but righteousness is achieved by faith in Jesus Christ.

God's promise is not limited to only the natural seed of Abraham, It is for all who walk in the steps of faith.
Chapter 5

When we fully accept God's word and will we are no longer at war but have peace with God.

Tribulation worketh patience which worketh experience which worketh hope.

God's grace supercedes God's law because the grace of God fulfilled the law.
Chapter 6

Doctrine of Baptisms Explained: Established by faith in Christ's baptism (death and resurrection), we are dead to sin but alive in the newness of life through Jesus Christ.

Free from sin, we are the servants and instruments of righteousness unto holiness. (Two masters)

Fruits of sin are shameful and death, but the fruit of holiness (through Jesus Christ) is everlasting life.
Chapter 7
-
By death, Jesus released his people from the bonds of the law making it lawful for his believers to accept by faith, salvation by grace.

God's law establishes right from wrong.

Our sinful carnal nature fights against the Holy Spirit therefore we must control the flesh with our mind and thoughts.
Chapter 8
-
Jesus conquered the sins of the flesh so when we walk daily in the Holy Spirit we too conquer our sinful flesh.

The carnal mind is death, it fights against God and cannot be subject to the law of God.

When the Spirit of God dwells in us then we are no longer of the flesh and our mortal bodies are quickened (revived).

We are the children of God and joint heirs with Christ.
Chapter 9
-
The children of God are not determined by the seed of flesh, rather by righteousness of faith. Therefore God's promise is to those that believe in Jesus Christ not the unbelievers.
Chapter 10
-
A reckless zeal for God is not God's righteousness. We must live according to the knowledge of God's authorized Word.

Righteousness and salvation come by faith and confessing that faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation is for all who will accept, but they must first hear the gospel of Christ, so we must teach it.
-
Faith is made strong by learning God's word.
Chapter 11
-
God has not cast away his people who he foreknew. There always will be a group of believers even when most people have turned against God.

All but the elect in The nation of Israel are blind. They have fallen asleep.

The tree of life is for all, Jews and Gentiles alike. But the unbelievers will be cut off. Yet the believers must be humble and fear God lest they too are not spared.

The people of Israel are not completely forsaken, those that will receive the gospel of Christ shall be saved.
Chapter 12

Instructions in living righteously.
Chapter 13
-
No power but that which is ordained of God. Living obediently.
Chapter 14
-
Each day should be as the sabbath.

Every individual must give a report or record of themselves to God. And we are not to dispute insignificant matters.

Kingdom of God is not physical but spiritual.

Whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Chapter 15
-
Word of God revival.
-
Old Testament prophecies of the Gentile gospel age.

With goodness and knowledge of God's word we are to warn and counsel one another.
Chapter 16

Don't listen to false teaching for it will deceive the unlearned Christian.
