4. FAITH is an affectionate practical confidence in the testimony of God.

FAITH is a firm, cordial belief in the veracity of God, in all the declarations of his word; or a full and affectionate confidence in the certainty of those things which God has declared, and because he has declared them.

6. The promises of God, or his truth and faithfulness. Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? Rom 3.

7. An open profession of gospel truth. Your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. Rom 1.

The Body of Christ is determined and positioned by its faith in God's Word, some 100 fold (Bride), some 60 fold (Wise), some 30 fold (Foolish). Our spiritual fruit is how we apply our faith to God's Spirit & Word. It is our responsibility to judge doctrine righteously and grow our faith and understanding in God's anointed Word and multiply God's good seed of doctrine.

Faith is believing without seeing, taking for truth the authorized Word of the Lord God without proof.

Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Hebrews 11:1 & 3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Notes:

The flesh is just the opposite of the fruit of the Spirit. On the television they have the fruit of the flesh. It attracts the crowd. The flesh wars against the Spirit.

Galatians 5:16-18

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law [of nature].

To get the fruit of the Spirit working, yield to the Lord. If you want divine Joy, when sadness comes, don't let it stay there very long, rejoice your way out of it, and yield to the Spirit of rejoicing. Start rejoicing to overcome that sadness. Same with divine love, don't yield to the hate and want to get back at them, you have to yield to the Spirit of Divine Love. By faith, you take hold of Divine Love. By joy, you take hold of Divine Joy.

The lights that we are seeing are the lights of the Lord of hosts showing His had is on these messages.

The fruit of Faith is different from the gift of faith (see a description of the gift of faith in Scroll 55 paragraph 2). The Gift of Faith you have seen in operation in dramatic ways. The fruit of Faith though is something everyone needs to be able to believe and not doubt. The fruit of Faith needs to rest on the body of Christ. The fruit of Faith is the 7th fruit. It is providential [proceeds from divine direction] among the elect.

Galatians 5:22
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Matthew 6:25-28 & 30

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

The birds aren't troubled about anything, and if only people can see it like that. But the flesh gets in the way and takes away the faith. Each day trust in the Lord.

If there is a delay, it does not mean that the Lord does not know what you need. He knows exactly what you need. Whether short or long-term.

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

People worry so much about tomorrow, they cannot live today.

Keep faith up, and keep your worry down by not worrying about tomorrow.

Luke 12: 6 & 7

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Don't worry about His part, God has you covered. You just need to do your part in faith. He knows all about it. The Lord has a record of everything far advanced and Man's inventions are absolutely obsolete compared to the Holy Spirit, which is so infinite and great. You limit God and make him so small you cannot get anything from him. So fear not. This is divine wisdom that he is giving us.

The great final outpouring will be like He does in nature, when they see the harvest coming the fruit will be gathered. It will come by the Spirit of the Lord. By faith we know these things will be done by the Lord for his children. He will bring His people to him and prove that man cannot do it. Man tries to bring forth the fruits and gather the people, but they haven't done it. But the Lord will do it. He will display himself like the world has never seen before.

The Lord wants to bless his people with abundance, but it is not by abundance that our light comes from. But by the Spirit is where our light comes from. It is good to prosper and have what you need, but don't put your faith in it.

Luke 12:15

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Luke 12:23

The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

The Lord will take care of it for you. You cannot change it one way or another, so put it in the hands of the Lord. From the least little thing to the greatest, put it in the hands of the Lord. Each time you believe the Lord and a miracle comes forth, it just lights up in the universe and brings praise to the Lord.

Luke 18:29-30

29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

Luke 21:18-19
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Wait, watch, and the Lord will be with you. You must trust the Lord and wait upon him. It takes different types of faith to work different types of miracles. Sometimes people can believe for some things but they don't have enough faith for other things.

Not all have the special gift of faith, but if one is full of the Holy Spirit, and they continue in the Spirit, then their faith will grow and they will have the fruit of faith of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit will give such great peace and rest.

By staying in the Anointing your faith will increase. Faith is real, God is real, He is real (Israel).
